Kharkiv University of Air Force
The Kharkiv University of Air Force (KUAF) has the highest level of accreditation (IV) and trains students in seven majors and specialties. The University also trains international students in all the accredited specialties. The University was founded on the 12th of November 1930. Since its foundation in 1930, the University has trained specialists from 27 countries of the world. The University is situated in the academic center of the country, also known as Kharkiv.
The administration of the the Kharkiv University of Air Force provides hostel accommodation for every student.
There is a well-equipped hostel with comfortable rooms, with all the necessary facilities for students’ comfort and daily needs.
Each room is provided with comfortable beds, heating, cupboard, refrigerator, TV, bathroom, bedclothes, table, safe, WiFi.
There is also a three-storeyed canteen on the University’s premises, with modern dining halls and highly skilled service personnel, providing students with high-quality meals suitable for different cultures and religions.
Meanwhile, there are more than 50 ethnical Ukrainian cuisine dishes available for international students to taste.
Today, more than 5,000 students are studying at the University. The total area of the laboratory facilities at the university is more than 100,000 sq/m. Training sessions are held in classrooms equipped with simulators. International students from various countries come to this university to complete their higher education. To facilitate students from outside Ukraine, the university provides courses in English too.
The climate is humid continental with an average temperature of 26.4 °C during summers and -7 °C. It has relatively long and cold winters.
It is a major cultural, scientific, educational, transport and industrial center of Ukraine, with numerous museums, theatres, and libraries.

The main source of research and teaching activities of the University lies in the quality of their lecturing staff which includes three hundred and ninety-four Ph.D. and forty-eight doctors. Also among them are fifty-five professors, hundred and eighty-six assistant professors, 103 senior research fellows, 1 Laureate of USSR Council of Ministers, 15 Honored Scientists of Ukraine, 2 Honored Inventors of Ukraine.
