Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy of HMU
State Institution "Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" (SI "DMA") was established on 15th Sep 1916 and is considered to be one of the leading educational establishments in Ukraine.
It was established to provide higher education courses to women.
Dnipropetrovsk Medical Institute is one of the oldest institutes bestowed with the highest level of accreditation in Ukraine (IV).

Since its existence, SI "DMA" has produced more than 50 thousand doctors, pharmacists, and nurses.
Nowadays SI "DMA" is one of the most significant higher educational institutions of Ukraine with uniquely integrated and continuous schooling of specialists at three levels: premedical, undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
Students enjoy a great number of facilities such as 7 hostels with rooms of different types, swimming pools, tennis courts, and volleyball courts as well as a football field that help students not to enjoy spending free time, but also to keep fit.
Dnipro also called Dnipropetrovsk is Ukraine's fourth-largest city, with about one million inhabitants. It stands 391 kilometres (243 mi) southeast of the Ukrainian capital Kiev on the Dnieper River . The city has a variety of theatres (plus an Opera) and museums of interest to tourists, including the Dmytro Yavornytsky National Historical Museum. There are also several parks, restaurants and beaches.
The academic staff considers the constant improvement of educational quality as the top priority as per current requirements. More than six hundred teachers (among which one hundred are doctors and three hundred and fifty candidates of sciences, one academician and three corresponding members of National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, one corresponding member of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine), helps to master specialty at the 7 faculties of medical academy (three faculties of general medicine, dentistry, two international and post-graduate studies faculties).
At present, more than two thousand international students are studying at Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy of HMU in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate field.
International students study here in English Medium and are mostly from India, China, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, Qatar, Oman, Morocco, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and 33 other countries from Asia, Africa and from Europe
